Patagonia

Wow! It's been at least whole week without booking any tours... getting withdrawal symptoms from not abusing the credit cards... so I figured on a Friday before leaving for a long weekend in Spain, then a long business trip to Abu Dhabi (hopefully the last time EVER I have to go there!!!) I should get something booked...

I've been looking for ages for a good tour to Patagonia that I could squeeze into the beginning of January. The one I had pencilled in didn't really go to the right places... and I was trying to avoid really hard core trekking/camping tours. I think I've found it... a Canadian company no less...

So, from January 3rd until 17th I'll be seeing the gorgeous mountains and oceans of Patagonia... the Moreno Glacier, and the expected highlight... Torres del Paine national park in Chile...


I actually leave Vancouver on Boxing Day - December 26th... flying to Buenos Aires... one of my best friends is dating an Argentine girl, and so the plan is to spend a week in BA with them, probably escaping to Punta del Este in Uruguay for some New Years Eve partying - South American style... hopefully some of the other Argentines I know will be in town as well... I'm not sure how I've never managed to visit Buenos Aires before, but I'm expecting it to join the list of my favorite cities!
