The Countdown has Begun

Yes..... it's finally official after being planned / dreamed about for months and years... I've resigned from my company, and will be spending the next three months pretending to work, while actually organising my WORLD TOUR!!!! Yay!!! Woo Hoo!!!

First thing is finding a better name than "Craig's World Tour"... suggestions gratefully received!!!

Never blogged before, so this might be a bit weird for me. But I thought I should have a space where I could post photos, any amusing stories, etc. rather than inundating people's email inboxes, or opening my Facebook profile for all to see. (check Facebook for really incriminating photo evidence!!! ;-) )

I also plan to post my itinerary. I've planned my route to meet up with friends / family along the way, but I'll also be taking a bunch of adventure tours... the kind with 15-20 adventurous people, rather than the horrible 50 person tourbus stopping for 15 minutes to see the Eiffel Tower... so if something inspires, just sign up to the same tour yourself!!!

So.... on to the planning.... I'll post what I've got planned so far.... there will be some gaps so jump in with suggestions... countries, tours, etc. etc. and if we're in the same part of the planet... there's nothing better than bumping into a familiar face in the strangest places...
