New Addition to "Stupid List"!!

It's been awhile since there was a new addition to my list of really stupid "tourist attractions" I've been taken to on my world tour. For those who've forgotten, the list is currently made up of...

1. the bee-keeping museum in Lithuania


2. the petrified forest (i.e. a bunch of rocks) in Namibia


3. the palm trees in Australia

Today, there's a new addition. The Tham Jang cave near Vang Vieng in Laos. Why's it so stupid? No stalagmites or stalactites hanging from the ceiling. No bats. No light show. No cave drawings. The cave isn't a result of lava flow. Not much of anything really. Just a cave where smugglers used to hide. And with cement on the walls in places to act as support.

So, another couple of hours of my tour I won't get back!! Anyhow, here's a photo of the cave!
